yeah man! When I was your age ...I mean I could draw pretty good but I drew other characters portraits ...people. I couldn't draw a stank chicken without a refrence!
But you seem like your drawing your own characters with out reference ...in your own style -And it looks awesome!
Then again I didn't get Photoshop till I was 16.
BTW -I joined that NG artist thing on DA.
Yeah, I greeted you. I was the one who said Welcome lol. And thanks for the compliments. I guess I'm a good example of practice makes perfect lol. I used ti make 10 pics a day practicing my technique back then.
yup thats it! thats the thing. There are techniques to learn. But the talent comes from practice.

I think NG's reputation that it has gotten since it started as a not so serious place has made people not think of it as a legitimate art place.
